Between 1953 and 1988, alone, the Commission has sued Council more than sixteen times, as the links listed below show.
In fact, there were some more cases of this kind, but those have not yet been placed on the European Court of Justice's website and must be read the old fashioned way, from the pages of a fat book printed on paper.
The results of a quick, casual read-through are encouraging for staff and SID's one person Legal Secretariat will be studying this material carefully over the holidays.
